China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) Nigeria Limited, Minna Branch is currently working in Minna, on the project titled (Rehabilitation / Reconstruction of Minna Township Roads, Phase I&II belonging to the Niger State Government).
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Civil Engineer (Specialized in Road Earthworks)
Location: Minna, Niger
Job Type: full-time
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate road excavation, backfilling, leveling and slope support construction, and manage excavators, bulldozers and other mechanical teams.
- Adjust the excavation plan according to the actual site soil conditions.
- Control the quantity of earthworks, cooperate with surveyors to complete daily elevation inspections, and cooperate with daily fuel consumption inspections.
- Responsible for assisting in the formulation of quota picking measures, reasonable use of materials, and material saving measures.
- Cooperate with the laboratory to complete soil quality testing
- Strictly follow the construction plan.
Qualifications
- More than 3 years of earthmoving experience, familiar with common geology in Nigeria (e.g. laterite, swamp soft foundation treatment).
- The excavation/backfill scheme can be adjusted according to the site conditions.
- Excellent communicative, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Holders of Highway and Earthwork related skills certificates are preferred.
Salary
Negotiable and based on experience and skill set.
