Position Requirements

  • An essential part of the OR&A process is the development and inclusion of:

  • Prepare, own and implement the OR&A plans for projects, using the related standards, processes, tools & systems;

  • Ensure the Project Development Plan and Project Execution Plan adequately addresses operational issues and requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with the General Operations Philosophies and prepare the Operational Reference Plan for new projects
  • Ensure that any proposed OR&A actions are received, considered, action / fed back, and included in any relevant documentation by the project team, e.g. Invitation for Tender, for implementation.
  • Develop operations documentation including commissioning plans, simultaneous operations procedures, plant operating manuals etc.
  • Develop Operational Cost (Opex) models to be used for life cycle costing and sound economic arguments.
  • Develop and utilize Key OR&A related Performance Indicators for tracking achievement and defining acceptance criteria.
  • Develop and implement the Operational Readiness Assurance process for all relevant projects.- Conduct HAZIDS, HAZOPS, Pre Start Audits and OR&A Reviews in support of the assurance processes.
  • Maintain the OR&A tools & systems, i.e. updating the Lessons Learnt and Best Practices database as required;- Contribute to the development or enhancement of the OR&A standards, processes, tools & systems, incorporating any Lessons Learnt and Best Practices.

Key Competencies Requirements:

  • A good understanding of the hydrocarbon production cycle, Operations Readiness and Assurance process, Engineering standards and quality assurance and corporate management system and strategies in order to conduct the business effectively.
  • The incumbent must be able to develop concise & technically sound documents and have the ability to communicate effectively and influence staff from other disciplines.
  • Conversant with quality management system standards. Good general understanding of project procedures and requirements with regard to construction, testing, plant inspection, turnover, commissioning and start-up.
  • Ability to lead, communicate and influence people at all levels and disciplines to achieve tasks at a high standard and within the time limits.
  • Possess Supervisory, presentation and ability to develop staff.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are required to be able to liaise successfully with other discipline engineers.

  • Maintains PIMS (Pipeline Integrity Management System) Manual and Procedures and all technical specifications for pipeline inspection activities. Such manuals shall include the inspection scopes, procedures, programmes, the list of pipelines under a database form to be computerized and the inspection reporting forms.
  • Maintains and provide technical support for the PIMS integrity elements. Act as resource for corrosion mitigation, defect analysis, monitoring and inspection of pipelines
  • Conducts annual risk assessments of pipelines using Company risk manual and software.
  • Develops Integrity Management Plan for pipelines.
  • Maintains, updates and uses data in company software to view, load inspection data, assess anomalies, conduct corrosion assessment of defects.

  • Participates in preparing technical specifications for Inspection Contracts.

  • Assumes Contract administrator role for minor contracts and coordinates pipeline inspections and remedial works.

Job Title: Project Manager - Gas Export & Flares Down (GEFD) Project


Job Number: 140521

Position Description

  • Responsible for the management of all project execution activities, from Definition through to Operate phase of the Gas Export & Flares Down (GEFD) project, including securing necessary regulatory approvals.
  • The objective of this project is to provide additional lift gas to meet the future requirements of OML 123, whilst at the same time meeting the Nigerian Government’s flare down requirements and providing for future NAPIMS Domestic Gas Sales Obligations (DGSO).
  • The facilities will comprise a GEFD platform in 10m water depth, with 65 to 70 MMscf/d compression / conditioning capacity, of which around 35 MMscf/d is dedicated to gas lift and the rest allocated for fuel gas, plus storage / export.
  • The GEFD platform (deck- 316T, piles- 861T, equipment- 554T)
  • will be bridge linked to the existing Adanga Production Complex and include a GT driven compression package and auxiliaries, 2 x 100% 1.2 MW diesel generators (dual fuel), gas conditioning module, flare system, air and fuel gas compressors, nitrogen generators and central control room.
  • The project is currently in the Define phase, with FID targeted for 3Q’14 and thereafter ready for start-up end Jan’16.
  • Currently estimated Facilities project cost is ca. $US 250 million.
  • This project will be executed by an integrated Company / Contractor team under a risk reward contract basis

Position Requirements
Job Duties/Responsibilities/Accountabilities

Formulate and carry out all tasks needed to ensure the successful execution of the GEFD Project on time, within budget and with due regard to HSES and quality, including:

  • Manage the execution of the GEFD project via the Corporate “ADS” stage gate approval process.
  • Prepare and maintain a “fit for purpose” Project Execution Plan (PEP).
  • Maintain a project risk register and develop mitigation plans for all major identified risks.
  • Prepare and maintain Project budgets, identify and raise Approval-For-Expenditure requests (AFE’s), and monitor the same.
  • Carry out monthly Forecast At Completion (FAC) cost estimation exercises.
  • Coordinate constructability reviews for associated installation and tie-in activities.
  • Coordinate commissioning activity planning.
  • Ensure the GEFD design adequately caters for Production requirements in terms of operability and obtain Production acceptance of same.
  • Liaise closely with Production department on all aspects of the execution including Permits to Work, shutdowns, and work coordination to ensure that the Project is completed and formally handed over on schedule.
  • Provide input to Technical Work Programmes and annual budgets as part of the annual business cycle.
  • Provide monthly reports in accordance with departmental reporting requirements.
  • Prepare Project close out and “lessons learnt” report.

Key Performance Indicators/Performance Goals (Preliminary - To be Agreed)

  • No fatalities, Zero LTI’s.
  • Accurate and timely monthly reporting on status, cost and schedule (both actuals and forecast).
  • Progression through ADS stage gates in accordance with Project schedule.
  • Full project delivery in accordance with agreed overall schedule and budget, and to level of quality as required by Company standards.
  • Both NAPIMS and AFE approvals secured ahead of making commitments, including any revisions.
  • Project close-out report to be issued no later than 3 months after start-up.
  • Formally close-out all contracts within 6 months of Project start-up.

Financial Dimensions
Directly accountable for the execution of the total Project within the overall approved Internal and NAPIMS budgets. The Facilities component of the project is currently estimated at some $US 250 million.

Job Specifications

  • Minimum of a University 2nd Class Honours degree in an engineering or relevant technical discipline.
  • Membership of a relevant Professional Institution preferred but not essential.
  • Minimum of 25 years experience in project, engineering and construction management, with at least 15 years recently at project management level in the offshore upstream oil and gas industry.
  • Previous experience of working in Nigeria is preferred but not essential.
  • Previous experience working internationally is a prerequisite.
  • Previous experience of working for an EPCI contractor preferred.
  • Managed multidiscipline teams of diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Computer literate (including sound working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MSProject ).

  • Ability to deliver quality projects safely with due regard to the environment, on time and within budget.
  • Ability and experience of working at the levels of detail required by EPCI contractors (Note that Company and contractor carry out all works together, as an integrated team)

SENIOR COMPLETIONS ENGINEER

Position Description
Well Design and Supervision of Completion / Workover Programs.
 
Tasks:
1.Responsible for offshore/onshore well completion planning. Ensure completion plans are suitable for the well.
2.Responsible for supervision of execution on the rig as needed.
3.Ensure optimization of completion plans.
4.Write detailed completion programs for all well types
5.Hold planning meetings, CWOP’s etc. and ensure actions are taken to mitigate all risks in the program.
6.Visit contractors and ensure tool selection is correct and meets all QA/QC requirements.
7.Ensure Addax database is properly updated and useful for obtaining completion planning information.
8.Monitor completion performance and provide benchmark statistics to ensure completions are time and cost effective.

Logistics Planner

Position Description
Management of the planning of vessels movement in line with offshore requests, crew change by means of helicopter, surfer, ensuring that the Logistics reporting is carried out in such a manner as to accurately reflect the current status of all these movements, and those necessary plans and reports are prepared for submission to the relevant management

Position Requirements
Lead and support the Logistics Team to ensure the highest quality of planning and reporting activities are achieved.
Take responsibility for all areas of the vessels movements, crew changes, including short, medium and long term forecasting.
Provide monthly resource performance analysis for all order intakes and forecast requirements.
Issue the execution plans and operational procedures for Marine Operations.
Plan and coordinate the Inspections of the vessel spread.
Prepare the vessel mobilization/demobilization plans and ensure related coordination on site.
Prioritize and plan Logistics workload through effective utilization of people within the department.
Interface with Projects, Drilling, Operations departments on activities scheduled for Short, Medium and Long term.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Preferably HNC/HND qualified within an engineering discipline.
Min 5 years planning experience and including preparation of detailed marine movements and project plans. Any of this experience in E & P operations will be an added advantage.
Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in EPC/EPCM project controls.

Receipting Reconciliation Executive I

Context & Environment

  • Work is on-line real time using Microsoft Excel Workbook and SAP Harmonie.

  • Coordinate JV reconciliation meetings and follow up outstanding issues.
  • Prepare monthly JV accounts reports and track annual debt recovery from JV partners.
  • Monthly Analysis of third parties recoverable accounts and reallocation of costs to Transporters and JV Partners.
  • Regular review and analysis of accounts in the general ledger not analyzed by SSC.
  • Monthly review of Manual Journals report prepared by SSC and escalate anomalies.
  • Prepare Priority Accounting Controls (PAC) reports on monthly and quarterly basis and follow up with concerned departments to ensure adherence with KPIs.
  • Analyze schedule of suppliers payments showing percentage of payments with and without purchase Orders
  • Review GR/IR provision accounts analyzed by SSC and follow up clearing of open items regularly.
  • Review Aging report prepared by SSC and follow up clearing of open items regularly
  • Support in collating responses to internal and external auditors.

Candidate Profile

  • BSc Accounting, Finance or Economics. ICAN/ACCA/CPA is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 Year work experience
  • A high level of analytical skills as well as a good knowledge of SAP and the company's operations is required. 
  • Team spirit, good communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.

Laboratory Officer, Lagos Blending Plant

Context & Environment

  • The job holder operates within Lagos Blending Plant (LBP) with high-speed filling lines, big pack filling lines, and high-end laboratory equipment to test all that’s required for the TotalEnergies Brand quality seal. 
  • The laboratory is responsible for overseeing quality control processes, ensuring that materials received and stored meet the required standards for internal use.

Activities

  • Implementation of safe work practices in all aspects, including ensuring appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all laboratory personnel.
  • Prompt quality checks on all raw materials, finished products, and in-line products in accordance with ASTM specification.
  • Issuance of quality certificate for raw materials and finished products.
  • Carrying out pilot blends for new formulations on blends to be produced.
  • Computation of corrections for off- specification blends.
  • Monitoring compliance to calibration schedules of laboratory equipment.
  • Commitment to TotalEnergies Golden Rules and use of Stop Cards.
  • Liaising with the Filling Supervisor to ensure quality of in-line products and accurate filling weight.
  • Documentation, including completion of laboratory analysis register and issuance of product quality certificate.
  • Base oil sampling from vessel and 3rd party depot.
  • Contributing to the development of plant processes and procedures.
  • Training new laboratory staff and industrial attaché.
  • Any other duties assigned by the Laboratory Supervisor/Plant Manager.

  • BSc. /HND in Industrial Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
  • A minimum of 1 Year work experience in analytical chemistry and testing

Job Description

  • The Finance Manager is responsible for all of the organization's fiscal operating results, utilizing industry standard banking, business and accounting principles.
  • He will ensure proper recording, analyzing and reporting business data to relevant stakeholders for performance management and decision support

What You Will Bring

Experience:

Qualifications

Analytical skills:

  • Very advanced spreadsheet capability and good knowledge of BI. Strong analytical and communication skills with proactive relationship management.
